Custom Cookie Boxes
Most bakers I talk to spend weeks getting a cookie recipe right, then pack it in whatever box is cheapest that week. But a customer can’t taste anything through cardboard, so the box is the first thing they judge, and sometimes the only thing. At The Box Printing we make custom cookie boxes for bakers, cafes and gift sellers who’d like the outside to match the quality of what’s inside.

Description
Custom Cookie Boxes Built Around Your Cookies
Our custom cookie boxes are made for people who sell baked treats, from a one-person home kitchen taking orders on Instagram to a bakery that restocks every week. Tell us how big your cookies are and what look you’re after, and we’ll print a box that suits them.
Why the Box Matters More Than You’d Think
People rarely buy cookies after reading the ingredients. They’re usually grabbing a gift or an office treat, or they just saw something pretty and picked it up. The box, the flavor name and a quick look at the cookie decide the sale.
Good cookie packaging boxes also change what you can charge. Put the same cookies in a paper bag and they feel like a snack. Put them in a sturdy printed box and they feel like a present, and customers will happily pay a bit more for that.
There’s a practical side too. Cookies crumble, soft ones get squashed and iced ones smudge if anything moves. A box that fits keeps them in one piece between your oven and the customer’s door.
Getting the Size Right
A box that’s even half a centimeter off causes trouble. Mini cookies, big chocolate chip ones, sandwich cookies and decorated sugar cookies all sit differently, so we don’t push a stock size on you. Send us a cookie, or its measurements, and we’ll build the box from those. If it’s too loose, cookies slide around and break. If it’s too tight, packing a busy Saturday’s worth of orders gets slow and frustrating. Neither is a good day. The usual styles are tuck-end boxes, sleeves, pillow boxes and cookie boxes with window. You can add an insert if you want each cookie to sit in its own slot, which helps a lot with iced or decorated ones. If your cookies are colorful, go with the window. Customers like to see what they’re paying for. For artwork, send us your logo and flavor names, or just describe the feel you want, whether that’s rustic, playful, minimal or festive. We’ll send a proof first, and nothing gets printed until you say yes.
Choosing a Printing Method
This mostly comes down to how many boxes you need. Digital printing suits smaller orders. It’s also the easy choice if each flavor has its own design, since changing artwork doesn’t add setup costs. Offset printing gives sharper detail and more accurate brand colors, so it makes sense for bigger orders where your color has to match exactly. Flexographic printing is for large runs of simple designs and works nicely on kraft. If you’re unsure, send your quantity and artwork and we’ll tell you which one we’d go with.
Finishes
Plenty of customers stop at a plain printed box, and that’s fine. A finish is what makes people turn the box over and run a thumb across it. Matte lamination has a soft, smooth feel. Gloss makes colors look richer. Spot UV adds a shiny raised patch, usually over the logo. Gold or silver foil gives a boutique look, and embossing or debossing presses your design into the paper so it can be felt as well as seen. They can be combined. Matte with spot UV on the logo is a popular pick for premium bakery boxes, and it looks more expensive than it actually is.

Materials, Protection & Bulk Orders
Folding carton is our most common choice. It’s strong and smooth and prints well, and it’s what most retail cookie boxes are made from.
Kraft paper gives a natural, homemade look. It’s recyclable, and a lot of US shoppers check for that before they buy.
Things That Catch New Bakers Out
Butter and oil seep into plain cardboard and leave greasy patches, which looks bad on a gift. A grease-resistant coating or liner solves it. If the cookie touches the box directly, ask us about food-safe packaging. We can suggest suitable coatings and liners, though you should still check what applies to your own product and state.
Ordering in Bulk
The more boxes you order, the lower the price per box. Businesses with more than one location often buy in bulk so every store has matching packaging.
Our wholesale cookie boxes go to home bakers, bakeries and cafes, gift shops, subscription box companies, wedding and event planners, and seasonal gift brands.
